He died about 1796 in Peapack, E. NJ.⁽²¹²⁾⁽²³³⁾ He was living in Drakestown, NJ. He was buried. Probably in Somerset or Morris Co, NJ Dainiels descendents took the english spelling of Lawrence. He was married to Elizabeth DRAKE about 1735.⁽²³⁴⁾ Probably Somerset Co., NJ DANIEL:
The order I put on the family page is in order per Gayford's book. He says this is the order given by Mrs. Theodore Holber, Sussex, NJ, who is a descendent of this Daniel. However, there is another order given that could be more accurate given by John Lawrence. He list the children in order of:
1. Charity. 2. Anna. 3. Phebe. 4. Adam. 5. Elizabeth "Betsy". 6. Jacob. 7. John. 8. Abraham.
9. Lidia. 10. Mary. 11. Margaret. t

Daniel Lowrance agreed to pay 45 shillings per acre for land in Bedminster Township. According to the Trenton Deed the total payments amounted to 422.16.14 (pounds), and the total acreage was 231. Daniel Lowrance received the deed November 11, 1763. Bedminster township is in Somerset County, New Jersey, near the Peapack area. Many of Daniel's children and grandchildren moved on north a bit to Morris County..

NOTE: In Warren Co., NJ Deeds: There was a William Lowrance who sold to Phineas Woolever (ux, 3/11/1834, Knowlton Twp. (don't have a William listed to put this yet-- Meaning that Gayford doesn't have a William born / listed for this date.)

i. Betsey LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²⁷⁾ was born in 1737 in New Jersey.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾⁽²³⁶⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ She died in 1755 in Mt. Freedom, NJ.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ She was also known as Elizabeth.⁽²³⁷⁾
ii. Benjamin LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²⁷⁾ was born in 1739 in New Jersey.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾⁽²³⁸⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He died.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ Probably in NJ.
iii. Elisha LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²²⁹⁾ was born in 1740 in Peapack, Somerset Co., NJ.⁽²³⁹⁾ He died in 1837 in Frankstown, Huntington Co., PA.⁽²³⁹⁾⁽²⁴⁰⁾ There is some question regarding his parentage.
iv. William LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²⁷⁾⁽²⁴¹⁾⁽²⁰⁴⁾⁽¹⁹⁰⁾ was born in 1743 in New Jersey.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾⁽²⁴²⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He died on Mar 2 1816 in Hackettstown, NJ.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He had an estate probated on Mar 7 1816 in Roxbury, Morris Co., NJ.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾ He was buried in Presbyterian Cemetary, Hacketstown NJ. He was a Storekeeper in Drakestown, NJ.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He resided at Schooley's Mtn. in Drakestown, NJ. He has Ancestral File number 21WT-QN9. William Lawrence was born 1743 in Peapack,N.J. & May Ayers was born 1733 in Basking Ridge,N.J. They settled in Hackettstown in 1764 which was settled by Obediah Ayers. William also gave property & was a Deacon at the First Presbyterian Church. They are burried next to the old Church but someone knocked down the stones & workers now drive over the graves beside the Church. Thw town was named for John Hackett, a promident landowner. Since 1958 it has been home to M & M Mars Candy Co. /It was incorperated in 1853 from Independence Township. It has Hackettstown Community Hospital & is home to many Lawyers, Arcitects accountents,banks & shoping centers
v. Daniel LAWRENCE Jr.⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²⁴³⁾ was born in 1744 in Peapack, NJ.⁽²⁴⁴⁾⁽²⁴⁵⁾⁽¹⁹⁷⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He died in 1810 in Dover, NJ.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He died in Mar 1825 in Canada.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾ He was a Farmer/ Blacksmith. Daniel's descendents took on the spelling as Lawrence
vi. Jacob LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾ was born in 1744.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾⁽²³⁹⁾
vii. Aaron S. LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ was born in 1745 in New Jersey.⁽²⁴⁶⁾⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He died in 1810.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾
viii. Sylvanus LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾⁽²⁷⁾ was born in 1736.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ ⁽¹⁹⁶⁾⁽²⁴⁷⁾ He was born in 1745. He died in 1806.⁽¹⁹⁵⁾ He died in 1831.⁽²³⁹⁾ ⁽²⁴⁸⁾ He died on Aug 16 1831. He died on Aug 31 1831 in New Jersey.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He was buried in Flanders, Morris Co., NJ. He was born in New Jersey.⁽¹⁹⁹⁾⁽²⁴⁹⁾ may have been spelled Silvanus.

x. Abraham LAWRENCE⁽¹⁷¹⁾ was born in 1752 in Somerset Co., NJ.⁽²³⁹⁾⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He died Jun 12 or 13 1837 in Vermont.⁽²³⁹⁾⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He resided at Springfield, NJ/ Bridport, VT/ & possiblt Stonington, CT.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ This gentleman probably started to used the name Lawrence.
xi. Isaac LAWRENCE was born in 1753.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾ He died between 1836 and 1846.⁽¹⁹⁷⁾
