Dear Shipmates & Terrorettes:
Our 19th reunion in Cincinnati, Ohio was a huge success. We wish to thank
Jeannette Hancock and her family with the late Bob Wolf and his family for being
excellent hosts.
It was so wonderful to see old and new shipmates attending the 19th Reunion.
We are pleased to announce that the 20th Reunion
can it really be 20 years,
the time goes by quickly
will be held in Miami Beach, Florida on the Royal
Caribbean Cruise Line. Yahoo! We will be going on a Four nights cruise. Our stops will be Nassau, Bahamas, Royal Caribbean Private Island
(CocoCay), and Key West Florida.

The cruise will be leaving Monday, August
21st. Arrival on the ship commences at 1:00 and, we drop anchor at 4:30. We will
return Friday, August the 25th at 8:00 am we should be cleared off the ship
by 11:00 am. Keep this in mind when you are making airplane reservations. We will arrange for hotel in the area for those of you who wish to
get into Miami 2 days before or wish to stay 2 days after the cruise. Details
will be forthcoming.
I have a flyer that will detail what to expect on your cruise to the Caribbean.
As you will note the rates start at only $489.00 per person (with two people
assigned to a room). You can upgrade your cabin choice to a porthole, or a
picture window view.

ashore at all the different ports +port charges. It does not include alcohol. At
CocoCay the Royal Caribbean private island, there will be a lovely buffet and
magnificent beaches to enjoy
all at no additional cost to you.
Any third or fourth passengers in a cabin will pay a total including port

singles out there we will do our best to match you up with a roommate. There will be twin beds in every room that can be connected into a king size
bed.
The good news is that you can bring as many folks with you as you want, that s
right there is no limit to the amount of people you want to bring, they will be
under the umbrella of the USS Terror group.
In order for this 20th Reunion to be successful we should have at least 70
people signing up for the Royal Caribbean Cruise. We need you to return your
postcards immediately.
The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line will supply us with one large meeting room area
that we may use as a combination craft room/meeting room. Ladies and Gentlemen start preparing your crafts.
I am working on getting us a welcome cocktail party with either the Captain or
his first mate. I am also requesting a tour of the bridge for the men in our
group.
We will sign off for now, contact us for a postcard and return it, letting know that
YES you will indeed attend. Its not where we meet that counts; but reuniting
with friends and shipmates from the USS Terror that is what its all about.
Expecting to hear from you soon.
P.S.: To those of you who are attending, the Royal Caribbean cruise line
requires a $100.00 deposit per person. This deposit will hold your space on the
ship. All deposit checks must be sent to us no later than November 15th, 1999.
Please make your check out to the USS Terror Fund.
PSS: For those of you who have never attended a reunion or, who have missed a
few then this one is for you. NOW is the time to start attending, make this one.
Start the year 2000 off with expectations of wonderful new memories to be made
and of meeting old friends and making new ones. Come on dont be shy
we
expect you there. Now send back that post card!
This letter was written with a lot of spice so it pays to read it twice.
